Looking into the interest of the overall growth and development of the community, our education committee came up with one more program aimed at raising awareness about government jobs and scholarship for international studies.
This program was conducted on 21st of September at our Lakadiya Hall, Danilimda. The number of registrations received were more than 120 and the number of guests that arrived at the seminar were even more. We were glad to see the huge number of students who are interested in such informative seminars.
As per our practice, we started the program with the recitation of the Holy Quran in the sweet voice of our committee member Hafiz Rauf Memon. The introduction, welcoming and anchoring of the program was conducted by Mr. Salimbhai Ravani.
Before going ahead with the program, we had an opportunity to be addressed by our President Mr. Sharif Memon, who gave a short but helpful speech to the students about the importance of the seminar.
We were able to conduct this seminar with the help of the good Samaritans like Mr. Mohsin Abdulkadar Amdani, Dastgeer Ansari, Adv. Aman Mir, Hamid Ajimulla Ansari and Salman Shaikh. Below we will share a short description of all our speaker guests.
Mr. Mohsin, himself a government employee in Industries and Mines Department helped the students to understand the benefits of government job and different types of government jobs available.
Mr. Dastgeer, also a government employee in ESIC helped the students with information on current openings in government sector and also the syllabus in general.
Mr. Aman is an advocate in High Court of Gujarat and has completed his LLM in the US. He gave introduction and information about the scholarship options available for higher education abroad.
Mr. Hamid and Mr. Salman are with police department and municipal department respectively. They motivated the students in doing their best in whatever field they are interested in.
The program was completed with a great success and the aim of helping the students with information regarding government jobs and scholarship opportunities was fulfilled. It was concluded with speech of Mr. Sohil Pancha, the chairman of our education committe.
We appreciate the help and support of all the members of education committee as well as other committees who helped make it successful.
