Finally, we were able to complete the most awaited program of the year on August 25, 2024. The program saw a huge audience in terms of students and their parents which gave us, the committee members, a great boost of confidence and satisfaction.
All the committee members, under the leadership of Sharif Bhai & Sohil Bhai worked hard to achieve the goal of making this event successful one. All the team members including education committee, other committees and the office staff did give more then their 100% to make sure that every one who is going to be a part of this program, is happy.
As per our practice, we started the program with the recitation of the Holy Quran in the sweet voice of our committee member Hafiz Rauf Memon. The anchoring of the program was conducted by our expert anchor Mr. Farooq Pancha while the introduction speech was given by Mr. Ilyaz Malkani who greeted the guests, the president and the leaders on the stage.
Before going ahead with the program, we had an opportunity to be addressed by our President Mr. Sharif Memon, who gave a really inspiring speech to the audience sharing his thoughts on the importance of education in the society – especially for the girls. He also shared the statistics based on the data available with us and his expectations from the community members in terms of responding to the programs conducted by the jamaat.
Mr. Sohil Memon, the chairman of our education committee gave us an idea of the efforts that are being put in by the jamaat & the education committee to help those students who are willing to excel in their studies. He gave us information about the different programs & activities being done by the jamaat in regards to education.
We also heard Ms. Rubina Lakadia who is the chairman of our ladies wing and she introduced us to the different activities being done by the ladies wing in terms of women empowerment. She gave a motivating speech that would help more ladies coming up and being a part of the ladies wing and enhance their skills which will help them, their families and the community as a whole.
Post completion of the speech, we started our program in full fledge with our expert anchor Mr. Farooq Memon who made sure that the entire program is completed smoothly. All the leaders of the jamaat including Mr. Sharif Memon, Mr. Sattar Lohiya, Mr. Hanif Alana, Mr. Arif Memon, Mr. Kadar Arabiyani, Mr. Iqbal Lohiya and Mr. Salim Musani.
